Daniel Woolhouse shares Fairytale of New York cover

Daniel Woolhouse has shared an intimate cover of Fairytale of New York as part of his Christmas “Countdown to the End of 2016”.

The countdown features stripped-back, piano versions of recent singles and lyric videos. Previous songs include lyric videos Crazy Water, Oh These Landscapes and Skeleton.

This version of Fairytale of New York sees the original song transformed into a gentle, bittersweet love song.

Daniel’s latest album What’s That Sound? is the first released under his own name, after the two previous albums released under his alias Deptford Goth. The album is more fleshed-out, hook-laden and euphoric than his previous work.
