Curb Your Enthusiasm returns
Society take cover, as Larry's back - taking apart and dissecting the things that for 99% of the world, really don't matter.
For the remaining 1%, what unfolds is not only some of the funniest viewing in the history of television, but also a cathartic vessel through which you can channel your own social navigations. Reducing those awkward moments to 'it all got a bit Curb' really does help.
Since launching in 2011, Curb Your Enthusiasm has aired 80 episodes over eight seasons, the last back in 2011. The show is HBO’s longest-running scripted comedy or drama series. The news of Larry's return was broken last night via Casey Bloys, president at HBO programming.
Bloys said: “We’re thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of CURB and can’t wait to see what he has planned.”
Asked why he decided to come back, Larry said: “In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned."
