King Creosote announces new album 'Astronaut Meets Appleman'
Scottish singer-songwriter King Creosote returns with new album Astronaut Meets Appleman.
Since his debut in 1998 he has produced over 50 albums, the most recent of which will emerge on the 2 of September. The new record is said to explore the tension and harmony between tradition and technology, between digital and analogue philosophies, and in his own words “invokes a feeling of being caught between heaven and earth”.
Expect chamber-rock rabble, harps, bagpipes and also silence.
King Creosote has also confirmed live dates including London's Hoxton Hall, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and WOMAD Festival.
