C Duncan announces new album 'The Midnight Sun'

C Duncan has announced his second album 'The Midnight Sun', a year after his Mercury nominated debut 'Architect'.

Set for release on 7 October, 'The Midnight Sun' is said to be more of an expansive and experimental album. Duncan cites the American sci-fi TV show The Twilight Zone as the inspiration for the album. His favourite episode is The Midnight Sun which bears claustrophobic, mysterious and unnerving undertones.

Like his previous album, 'The Midnight Sun' was recorded and produced in his bedroom. The Guardian said that the music was: 'Pastoral dream-pop dizzyingly close to perfection'.
