Premiere: Sauce - 'What Feels Better (Than You & I)?'
Sauce are Henry Lewis (vocals, guitar), Dean Molyneux (lead vocals, lead guitar), Lewis Rushton (bass guitar) and George Stead (drums, vocals).
Recorded over a couple of sessions at Liverpool’s Parr Street Studios with Alex Quinn [Blossoms, The Coral], their new track ‘What Feels Better (Than You & I)? is released on 17 November.
Since their incarnation 18 months ago, the psych rockers have succeeded in gaining an ever-growing reputation around Manchester for their authentic 60s sound, full of raw baselines and stadium sounding choruses.
Sauce's George Stead said: “We wanted to work with Alex because of the work he had done with The Vryll Society and how impressed we were with that sound. We also wanted to record a track at Parr Street Studios because of its history - Black Sabbath recorded all of there stuff there, and they’re our heroes, so why shouldn't Sauce?”
Henry Lewis continues: “We've all had that feeling at some point and when you see what mad shit is going on all over the world, the things that bring people together are the most important aren't they?”
