The Midlands is being graced with a number of exciting shows in the run up to the popular Y Not Festival this summer.

Brummies, Superfood, are the first band to be announced and they will perform at Rough Trade in Nottingham in aid of Blythe House Hospice. The Blythe House Hospice offers care for people suffering from cancer or other long term illnesses in the High Peak area.

Festival organiser, Simon Mawbey said: ‘’We’re delighted to be working, again, with Blythe House Hospice, a fantastic charity that provides an invaluable service for local people. It’ll be great to get out into the communities that surround Y Not Festival and put on some exciting bands, offering a taste of what to expect at Y Not Festival 2018.’’

Superfood are set to take a break from their tour with Wolf Alice and perform their second studio album 'Bambino' which was released 8th September. Joining them at this exciting event are BBC Introducing artists, Rob Green, Vega Bay and Daisy Godfrey, who will all perform on the Sunday of the Festival.
