Zoee shares video for new single '1-2-1'

Fresh from collaborating on The Rhythm Method's track ‘Cruel,’ London-based Zoee's new single '1-2-1' offers a slice of her glitchy-hypnotic production and other-worldly vocals.

Self-created visuals provide a disturbing narrative to the track’s electro-pop sound. ‘1-2-1’ is one of four songs soon to be released on Zoee’s new EP, ‘Insecure.’ Written with Rowan Martin of The Rhythm Method, the EP was constructed on Garageband and recorded in Zoee’s bedroom.

Zoee said: “1-2-1 is inspired by my fascination with serial monogamy, moving from relationship to relationship in quick succession. I feel the need to be wanted can sometimes override the need to be loved. That need is reflected in the manic arpeggios and voice-in-your head backing vocals”.

Zoee’s EP ‘Insecure’ is released in April.
