VISIONS Festival announces first wave of acts

Liars, Frankie Cosmos and Goat Girl are among the acts announced for London multi-venue event VISIONS festival taking place on 5 August.

Previous years have seen special performances from an internationally acclaimed range of artists including Young Fathers, The Fat White Family, Let’s Eat Grandma, Hinds, The Japanese House, and many more. VISIONS has progressively grown each year adding new venues, spaces and outdoor spots within London Fields, and has become a firm favourite for many in the local area and beyond.

Taking place at multiple venues across London Fields, the festival welcomes cult heroes Liars to top the bill, playing one of their first UK shows since their 2014 released album ‘Mess’. Electronic producer SOPHIE also joins the festival for a rare London performance. As well as a handful of talented US acts, including rapper ZEBRA KATZ, Brooklyn-based punk band The Men and quirky indie outfit Frankie Cosmos.

Celebrating the best of London talent, the hotly tipped Shame, Rough Trade-signed newcomers Goat Girl and fast-rising MC Benny Mails are all set to play VISIONS festival. Whilst R&B meets folktronic duo IDER and Tel Aviv-based artist Noga Erez both join the bill. Many more acts are still to be announced in the coming weeks.

VISIONS also offers various non-music events which include firm favourites such as our Screen Print Class, Tattoo Flash Day, Record & Zine Fair and the Street Food & Craft Beer Market. They are also welcoming back the massively successful Dog Show and other new additions, including Punk Rock Karaoke and a VISIONS Cook-Off.
