Nite Jewel shares video for 'Real High'

American electro-pop artist Nite Jewel has released the video for her new track, Real High.

Nite Jewel AKA Ramona Gonzalez - releases her fourth album in May. Real High, the album’s title track, channels soft nineties era R&B grooves inspired by the likes of Janet Jackson and Mary J. Blige. The pastel tinged video for the song features clips of Gonzalez’s husband and album producer, Cole M.G.N, double exposed over footage of Gonzalez walking the streets of Los Angeles.

Real High was crafted in Los Angeles over a four year period and Gonzalez sought out long-time collaborators Julia Holter, Dam-Funk, and Droop-E to contribute to the writing process. The result sees Gonzalez using her lyrics to explore the vulnerabilities of loving another person while attempting to love ourselves.

In addition to the release of Real High, independent record label Italians Do It Better will release a 12’’ vinyl companion EP to Nite Jewel’s new album. The EP, entitled Obsession, will feature B-sides and alternative mixes created during the recording of Real High.

‘Real High’ is released 5th May via Gloriette Records.
