Beach Fossils share 'Silver Tongue'
Beach Fossils have shared new track, Silver Tongue as part of the Secretly Group’s online charitable project, ‘Our First 100 Days.’
‘Our First 100 Days’ has seen a host of artists share previously unreleased material via Bandcamp. The project aims to raise funds and awareness for organisations supporting causes under threat during the current Trump administration, including climate charities and LGBTQ community groups. For a small contribution, fans will receive one song per day for the first 100 days of the Trump presidency. Artists including PWR BTTM, Kate Tempest, Surfer Blood, Cherry Glazerr, and Angel Olsen have all joined Beach Fossils in contributing tracks.
Beach Fossils are currently preparing for the release of their new album, Somersault in June and the band recently shared a music video for the single Saint Ivy. The video pays tribute to their fellow New York City-based artists and America’s varied and diverse population. In yet another charitable move, Beach Fossils encouraged fans and viewers of the video to donate money to two American national organisations struggling due to government budget cuts.
‘Somersault’ is released 2nd June via Bayonet Records. ‘Silver Toungue’ is available to purchase via the 'Our First 100 Days' project on Bandcamp.
