Dusty Mush share new single 'Bad Ideas'

French garage rock misfits Dusty Mush have unveiled the video for their new single, Bad Ideas.

A galloping track dripping with telephone static and thunderous percussion, Bad Ideas provides an aggressive slice of heavy fuzz guaranteed to get the molars grinding. Taken from the band’s upcoming album, Cheap Entertainment the single could comfortably sit alongside the work of Thee Oh Sees and early Ty Segall.

The DIY-style video is something Mac DeMarco himself could be proud of – nostalgic wavy lines of old VHS tape complete with a saturated colour palette. Psychedelic and mind bending, each frame is a trippy visual representation of the Dusty Mush sound.

Dusty Mush continue to make waves with raucous live performances, recently touring the UK with their back catalogue of blown out and intelligently dumb punk records. Their latest LP is released by celebrated Bristol-based label Stolen Body Records and it's easy to see why the press have dubbed the move “the last sincere example of cultural exchange before Brexit hits full swing.”

‘Cheap Entertainment’ is released 26th May via Stolen Body Records, in partnership with Howlin Banana Records.
