Who Done It?

Lying in bed, staring out of a window that has now turned black. Before the black, I heard people and some of the windows were lit up. A child repeated the phrase: "I didn't do it. I didn't do it." His young voice on the verge of both a scream and disintegration. I felt his frustration. I am still feeling it. I also, 'didn't do it'. It is 00:28. The summer is calling it a night.
