Cults share new single, 'I Took Your Picture'

Cults have unveiled a new single, ‘I Took Your Picture.’

The track is the second to be shared from the band’s upcoming third album, ‘Offering.’ Featuring breathy vocals over an eighties-inspired melodic hook, ‘I Took Your Picture’ offers the darkly retro sound that Cults have often delivered.

The band says of the single: "’I Took Your Picture’ was inspired by falling into a deeper love with 80's power pop bands like The Motels and The Cars. It's a song about fleeting moments and how we let past feelings interrupt the possibility for good things to happen. "Tinge of blue, to the end, left our hearts, with regrets, I'm learning." It's a daily struggle to try and stay open and available but it's probs worth it. And you can dance to it!"

Offering’ will see the duo develop their signature sound while also exploring new song structures and instrumentation. Writing in collaboration for the first time, the album has been steadily built from extensive demoing and jam sessions.

‘Offering’ is released on 6th October via Sinderlyn.
