InstaBAM! Fabian Fohrer
Graphic designer, Fabian Fohrer’s typographic works are bold and innovative. Fohrer’s designs are discordantly precise and seek to explore the boundaries of both design and the designer.
Fohrer founded a typographic collective alongside fellow student, Fabian Huber from which they produce superbly crafted “visually strong typefaces for people who value contemporary type design”. The incorporation of these typefaces into Fohrer’s work create strong visual outcomes and show a fantastic understanding of typographical play.
Fohrer undertook the challenge of producing one poster a day between September and February, the results of which are both confident and undeniably impressive. Fohrer has a great element of play in his work and the ‘1 poster/day’ series is a great example of this. Featuring clashes of colour, shape and type distortion this series is fun to follow, constantly surprising and incessantly beautiful.
