The Horrors share video for 'Something to Remember Me By'

The Horrors have shared a music video for their latest single, ‘Something to Remember Me By.’

The track is taken from the band’s critically acclaimed fifth album, ‘V,’ released last week. One of The Horrors’ most upbeat songs to date, ‘Something to Remember Me By’ is fleshed out through layers of synth sounds and an infectious bass line. Closing the album with a dark flourish, the song is the ultimate statement piece within the band’s collection of work.

The new music video, directed by Max Weiland, sees the The Horrors harvesting their own bodily fluids and putting them up for sale on the mass market, all under the watchful eye of a strange corporation.

Weiland said of the video: “This video is a comment on society’s obsession with celebrity and the music industry’s attempt to take advantage of that. A strange corporation harvests The Horrors for their real blood, sweat, tears and more, turning their bodily fluids into consumer products ready for the mass market.”

‘V’ is available now via Wolf Tone/Caroline.
