The Men share new single, Maybe I'm Crazy

To coincide with their 10th anniversary this year, Brooklyn-based four-piece The Men have announced their new album Drift.

Drift is the seventh full-length by the NYC rock polymaths.

The album was recorded to 2" tape, with Travis Harrison of Guided by Voices, at Serious Business Studios in Brooklyn.

The album incorporates a whole pile of instruments — synths, strings, sax, harmonica and tape loops. On top of the usual guitar, bass, and drums.

Songwriter Nick Chiericozzi suggests that the lack of overdubs in Drift is, "A reflection of the personalities of its makers becoming less frantic,"

Less overdubbing is a step away from previous work, like their self-released album Devil Music.

The Men are performing two home gigs in Brooklyn's Union Pool on the 3rd of both March and April. Then, travelling to Austin, Texas, for Levitation Fest on April 27th.

Drift track list:

1. Maybe I'm Crazy
2. When I Held You In My Arms
3. Secret Light
4. Rose on Top of the World
5. So High
6. Killed Someone
7. Sleep
8. Final Prayer
9. Come To Me

Set for release on 2 March via Sacred Bones Records. Maybe I'm Crazy, the first track from the record, is streaming now.
